All of our members receive a 10% discount at the Museum Gift Shop, discounted research fees, free admission to the Becker County History Museum, email updates, quarterly newsletters, personal invitations to BCHS events, and voting rights at the Annual Meeting held each fall.
10 ways you can help...
1. MEMBERSHIP. The Becker County Historical Society depends on memberships for over 1/3 of the annual budget. Please encourage your friends and family to become members.
2. DONATIONS & MEMORIALS. These gifts are used to help staff the Becker County Museum, new exhibits and presentations throughout the county, and daily operating expenses of our museum facility.
3. VOLUNTEER. From handy work, cleaning and gardening to tours, greeters and research there is always a time and place for you to help. Training is provided.
4. SERVE. On the BCHS Board of Trustees or a Committee. Planning for the future and preserving the past takes many heads, skills and backgrounds.
5. EVENTS. Attend a fundraiser or an event sponsored by the BCHS
6. ENDOWMENT. Ask us about BCHS Endowment Funds.
7. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS. Save WE CARE receipts from Central Market and give your MINNKOTA recycling $$ to BCHS just to name a few.
8. SPONSOR. Ask how you can sponsor a presentation or event on this years calendar.
9. SHOP. Stop into the Becker County Museum Gift Shop to find Becker County-made items, local books, gifts to help capture memories and much more. All proceeds support the Becker Co. Historical Society.
10. RECOMMEND. Tell out-of-town guests and tourists to be sure to visit the Becker County Museum.
